'Goals' to debut on JEF film festival
Goals, a children's documentary by Florinda Ciucio, has been selected to compete at the JEF festival for children and youth film; which will also mark its international debut. After, the film will make its television debut on the children's channel Ketnet and will be distributed throughout schools for educational purposes.
This colourful documentary follows two little girls from Antwerp who dream of becoming professional soccer players. Besides their dribbling skills, their ambitious outlook on life is perhaps their greatest talent. They know that without a goal, it is impossible to score. It’s a delight to see this story of friendship, aspiration and determination reach a bigger audience in order to inspire children and young people to follow their wildest dreams.
