'Dag Ma' is a tragic comic story about maternal love that centers around Irène (103 years old) and the unique bond that she shares with her daughter Yvette (62 years old). It's a story about saying goodbye as the narrative questions what will happen to Yvette (who has an intellectual disability) when her mother will come to pass away.

It is the story of a mother and a daughter who are forced to reinvent their relationship when their health no longer cooperates. Their relationship shifts and the roles of mother and daughter are reversed for the first time. How do they fit into these new roles and how can they prepare for the inevitable goodbye?
