The 'Missing Persons Unit' (Cel Vermiste Personen) of the Federal Police investigates thousands of disappearances every year. The Cell was founded at the time of the Dutroux case and celebrates its 25th anniversary on the 4th of September: an ideal opportunity to dive into the world of the Cell and to look back on that remarkable time so far. Who are the people who go looking for all those missing people? How do they do it? These are the questions Fatma Taspinar asks in the four-part series The Missing Persons Unit.
